Be Your Own Best Friend

Settle in with yourself. Be friends with your own hurts and fears. Listen to your own voice. Allow your feelings to surface quietly. Hold the parts of you that are sad or anxious in your heart and heal them with love. Be your own best friend. Be your own loving mother and father. Speak to and about yourself kindly. You will find that you are all you need to be happy.
