Are You Acting from Love?

Before you take any action, stop and take a breath. Allow your higher nature to intervene. Ask yourself if the action is coming from place of love or of anxiety. When you act from anxiety, the situation is not bettered, even if you get what you want in the immediate moment. There will be consequences. An angry parent might get immediate compliance from a child by yelling or hitting, but the long term negative consequences are great. The same is true of any action you might take from anxiety. Just take a breath and reflect. "Am I acting from love?"
