Choose Peace

You choose at every moment whether to be happy or sad, angry or calm, hateful or forgiving, tense or relaxed. You are choosing whether it feels like a choice or not. What you focus on is the key. When you notice anger or grief or sadness or hatred, step back. Observe. Find the awareness of the thoughts that go with the emotions. This is your ticket out. Once you are aware, you can choose otherwise. Take every opportunity to choose peace.
