Relax Your Body

Begin with relaxing your body. Consciously observe all the muscles in your body relaxing. Know that as you relax physically, you can relax mentally. Know that by releasing tension, you can release sadness, anger, guilt, resentment, fear. You needn't have any intention but to relax. The rest will come naturally. There might be a period of increased anxiety at first. That's normal. That's just the old stuff which has not been acknowledged for a while. Just breathe through it. It's nothing but insubstantial thought. Release. Release. Release.
