Intimacy

You decide what you share about yourself, and with whom. It's okay to say "I'm fine" when you are not fine. It's okay not to reveal every past relationship to your new partner. Knowing more and more about yourself allows you to attune what you reveal to others to the depth of the relationship. If most things about you are open and freely shared, then you will enjoy closeness with more and more people. But the deepest parts of yourself are better shared with the few closest to you. You honor people with this level of intimacy. Share consciously.
