If In Your Heart You Are Open

Yes, you may look for the divine in church, mosque, temple, meeting house or synagogue, but you will only find it there if you are open to it in your heart. If you are open, you will find a place of worship that is agreeable to you, and it will be divine. If you are open, you will find your divine in a cathedral or a roadside shack, a tiny room, a vast forest or a quiet glen. If you are open, you will find the divine in the highest ceremony or the lowliest act. Choose what suits you, and the divine is there if in your heart you are open.

Grandmother

Your loved ones are available to you. When you feel your Grandmother with you, she is not merely a memory, not merely the ghost of the person you knew as your Grandmother, but a portion of that great soul of which your Grandmother was a beautiful expression. In other words, the soul of your Grandmother is eternal and boundless. That soul chose to send some energy into the experience of being your Grandmother, and once the physical expression was done, the soul maintained the ability to send that piece of energy to you in the form of dreams or visions or just a sense of the Grandmother's presence. And so, though you cannot hug your Grandmother, though you cannot sit down and have a nice long chat over tea and cakes, your Grandmother is still available to you whenever you want. Bless her and listen to her. She loves you.
